Job Description:
Execute procurement activities and supplier selection for low dollar requirements or requisitions for IT hardware, software and support services.
Lead selected negotiations specific to IT hardware, software and support services.
Interface with Corporate, SBG IT & Procurement organizations to determine requirements; implement and execute low dollar sourcing tasks
Update, prepare and issue requests for bid, quote, proposal or information documents to qualified contractors, transmit addenda, receive contractor offerings.
Analyze options, prepare summaries, equalize offerings, negotiate clarifications, and issue appropriate agreements.
Drive supplier rationalization within a select portion of the commodity
Incorporate E-procurement best practices including competitive events such as auctions and RFPs
Meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers and external suppliers to gain their trust and respect
Follow approval and reporting requirements
Achieve savings, as outlined by Procurement goals
Establish win-win Honeywell/Supplier Contractor relationships
Qualifications:
University degree required, preferably in supply chain or related business field.
